Thesis
The development of cross-electrophile biaryl couplings using desulfinative processes
- Abstract:
- This thesis details investigations into cross-electrophile couplings for the synthesis of 2-azine containing biaryl compounds. Several methods are discussed, which combine two (hetero)aryl halides in one-pot to form the desired product, proceeding through in situ formation of a sulfinate intermediate and subsequent desulfinative coupling.
