Abstract:

During the 1960s and 1970s, a number of Southern Africa's liberation movements undertook armed struggles to end colonial rule. The Mozambique Liberation Front (FRELIMO) and the Zimbabwe African National Union (ZANU) were two liberation movements which engaged in armed struggle to liberate their countries.
