The incorporation and distribution of radioactivity from 1-14C-D-glucosamine, N-acetyl-1-14C-D-glucosamine and 1-14C-N-acetyl-D-glucosamine in growing cultures of Bacillus subtilis NCTC 1379 has been investigated.
