Abstract:

Emerging viruses of the Phenuiviridae family threaten human and animal health across the globe. The mosquito-borne phlebovirus, Rift Valley fever virus (RVFV) is widespread across the African continent wherein regular deadly outbreaks amongst livestock constitute a significant economic burden.
