Cationic titanium amidinate and guanidinate complexes

Thesis

This Thesis describes the synthesis and characterisation of half-sandwich complexes supported by κ¹-amidinate and κ¹-guanidinate ligands as well as the cationic species produced on activation. The chemistry of the cationic species is detailed and DFT studies which have also been carried out to elucidate the bonding in relevant complexes are also presented.
