Long-distance movements in pelagic seabirds: at-sea behaviour and life-history consequences
- Abstract:
-
Throughout their lives, animals have to make trade-offs between current and future events in their annual cycle. Long-lived migratory species in particular have to balance the cost of reproduction with adult overwinter survival, which is heavily dependent on migration. Behavioural plasticity, perhaps through experience and learning, may play a role in shaping individual variations in life-history decisions. The mechanisms by which such variations develop, and their potential effects on lif...

Dear ORA Team,
I don't seem to be able to add an embargo on any document, as in the "making your thesis available" tab the only option appearing next to the question "can this file be made freely available" is "yes".
My thesis contains unpublished material which should not be made freely available for at least another 1 or 2 years, as well as recently published material on which the publisher has imposed a 24 month embargo.
I would be grateful if you could make sure to set an embargo of at least 2 years on my thesis.
Many thanks.
