Development of pan-cancer immunotherapies to target stressed cells within the tumour microenvironment

Abstract:

Targeted cancer immunotherapies have been described as a ‘magic bullet’ which allow for the specific targeting of cancerous cells whilst leaving healthy cells unharmed. By targeting proteins that a highly upregulated in tumours, we can specifically target cancer cells for destruction via the immune system.
