Fluoride-ion batteries with liquid electrolytes

Abstract:
A crucial avenue to curb greenhouse emissions is electrifying transportation. To do so, novel battery technologies are needed. These should have higher energy densities than what is achievable with current technologies, while also avoiding the critical minerals found in lithiumion batteries (LIBs).
