Thesis
Fluoride-ion batteries with liquid electrolytes
- Abstract:
-
A crucial avenue to curb greenhouse emissions is electrifying transportation. To do so, novel battery technologies are needed. These should have higher energy densities than what is achievable with current technologies, while also avoiding the critical minerals found in lithiumion batteries (LIBs). Among the possible alternatives, fluoride-ion batteries (FIBs) are a promising chemistry to satisfy both requirements. Within the different types of FIBs, conversion-type FIBs with liquid elec...Expand abstract
