Combustor simulators for scaled turbine experiments

Abstract:

Gas turbine combustors employing a single lean combustion stage represent the next generation of design for reduced NOXemissions. These lean-burn combustors rely on swirl-stabilised flames resulting in highly non-uniform outflows.
