Cúchulainn's women and some Indo-European comparisons
- Abstract:
- The paper explores parallels between the careers of Cúchulainn, Arjuna and Odysseus. At some point each of these Indo-European epic heroes undertakes a journey involving encounters with a series of females. The sets of encounters are comparable and relate to the pentadic theory of Indo-European ideology.
