Abstract:

Realising the efficiency potential of multi-junction perovskite solar cells requires semiconductors with bandgaps near 2 eV. To date, however, research has been dominated by materials optimised for single-junction or silicon-perovskite tandem architectures requiring narrower bandgaps, leaving the wide-bandgap space comparatively underexplored.
