Abstract:

Unconventional superconductors are promising systems that can be used in practical applications, due to their large critical temperature, critical current densities and upper critical fields. This thesis investigates the electronic and superconducting behaviour of a new family of unconventional iron-chalcogenide superconductors tuned by applied hydrostatic pressure.
