Abstract:

MicroRNAs (miRNAs) control gene expression and consequently play regulatory roles in the development of plants and animals. The FEW RHIZODS 1 (MpFRH1) miRNA of the liverwort Marchantia polymorpha was identified as a negative regulator of rhizoid development.
