Identifying opportunities to enhance lymphoma diagnosis in primary care

Abstract:
BACKGROUND: Lymphoma is the fifth most common cancer, classified into two subtypes: Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) and Non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL). Unfortunately, evidence suggests that lymphoma diagnosis is often delayed leading to more than 40% of HL and over 50% of NHL patients being identified at an advanced disease stage (England, 2021).
