Dataset
Dust concentration and emission flux data from PI-SWERL field experiments at Etosha Pan, Namibia (September 2022)
- Documentation:
- This dataset contains PI-SWERL (Portable In-Situ Wind Erosion Laboratory) measurements of PM10 dust concentration, threshold friction velocity, and emission flux collected during a field campaign at Etosha Pan, Namibia, in September 2022. Data were obtained across five playa surface types to quantify local-scale variability in dust emission potential under natural conditions. Each record includes raw DustTrak PM10 readings, corresponding rotation speeds (RPM) and shear velocities (u*), as well as average emission fluxes (mg m-2 s-1) calculated for each site.
