Sudden cardiac death (SCD) is one of the largest causes of natural mortality throughout the world. SCD can be triggered through ventricular arrhythmias due to many pathological conditions, including coronary artery diseases, arrhythmogenic cardiomyopathies and genetic mutations of ionic channel proteins.
