Abstract:

Aggregations of fused in sarcoma (FUS), a multifunctional RNA processing protein, define a pathological subtype of both frontotemporal dementia (FTD) and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), whilst mutations in the FUS gene are causative for ALS.
