The overall aim of this thesis was to investigate the role of the Tuberous Sclerosis (TSC) complex in selective neuronal vulnerability (SNV) of the CA1 region in Alzheimer’s disease (AD). This aim was addressed through a combination of neuropathological and in vitro studies.
