Metal-on-metal hip resurfacing arthroplasty (MoMHRA) is an alternative treatment option to total hip arthroplasty (THA), especially in the young and active. Despite the early successful results, reports of adverse soft-tissue reactions around the MoMHRA have caused increased concern.
