Summary statistics relating to "GWAS identifies 14 loci for device-measured physical activity and sleep duration"

Documentation:
Summary statistics relating to Nature Communications Doherty et al. GWAS of accelerometer measured: 1) Overall activity 2) Sleep duration 3) Sedentary behaviour 4) Walking 5) Moderate intensity activity This also contains summary statistics relating to GWAS of accelerometer measured traits, with the inclusion of sex and body mass index (BMI) as additional covariates: 1) Overall activity, additionally adjusted for sex and BMI 2) Sleep duration, additionally adjusted for sex and BMI 3) Sedentary behaviour, additionally adjusted for sex and BMI 4) Walking, additionally adjusted for sex and BMI 5) Moderate intensity activity, additionally adjusted for sex and BMI The files originated from a BOLT-LMM analysis - https://data.broadinstitute.org/alkesgroup/BOLT-LMM/ Code for preparing phenotypes is available at https://github.com/activityMonitoring Physical activity and sleep duration are established risk factors for many diseases, but their etiology is poorly understood, partly due to relying on self-reported evidence. Our 2018 Nature Communications article reports a genome-wide association study (GWAS) of device-measured physical activity and sleep duration in 91,105 UK Biobank participants, finding 14 significant loci (7 novel). This data deposit shares the summary statistics related to this GWAS study.
