Dataset
Data repository for 'Electrochemical-thermal modelling of high power Li-ion pouch cells'
- Documentation:
- This dataset contains experimental results from comprehensive lock-in thermography performed on a large-format Li-ion (LFP/Gr) pouch cell across a wide range of operating conditions. Measurements include constant-current charge/discharge tests and pulse-testing protocols conducted at multiple states of charge and C-rates from 1C to 10C. These experiments were designed to characterise the cell’s thermal behaviour and electrochemical performance under high-power operation. The dataset accompanies our publication, “Electrochemical-thermal modelling of high power Li-ion pouch cells” (Journal of Power Sources, 2026; DOI: 10.1016/j.jpowsour.2025.238764), and the PhD thesis by M. E. Wojtala (2023), Degradation and thermal performance of Li-ion batteries: implications for electric vehicles (University of Oxford; DOI: 10.5287/ora-vj4g0a82q).
