Synthetic exploration of sulfinyl radicals using sulfinyl sulfones

Abstract:

Sulfinyl radicals – one of the fundamental classes of S-centered radicals – have eluded synthetic application in organic chemistry for over 60 years, despite their potential to assemble valuable sulfoxide compounds.
