Kala-azar: the world's guilty secret.

Abstract:: The clinic of the Sudan Medical Relief Project (www.sudanmedicalrelief.org) is in Old Fangak, in what is now the Republic of South Sudan. In 2010, I spent 7 weeks working there with an American medical team, before being evacuated owing to increasing violence in the area.
