Inhibition of the TGF-beta receptor I kinase promotes hematopoiesis in MDS.

Abstract:

MDS is characterized by ineffective hematopoiesis that leads to peripheral cytopenias. Development of effective treatments has been impeded by limited insight into pathogenic pathways governing dysplastic growth of hematopoietic progenitors.
