Clinical amyloid imaging in Alzheimer's disease.

Abstract:

BACKGROUND: The hypothesis that amyloid deposition is the leading cause of Alzheimer's disease (AD) is supported by findings in transgenic animal models and forms the basis of clinical trials of anti-amyloid agents.
