Dispersion of helically corrugated waveguides: Analytical, numerical, and experimental study
- Abstract:
- The simulation of wave propagation through the structures by using the time-domain code MAGIC was discussed. The SNA MAGIC simulations had the advantages of able to generate sufficient data for the dispersion using comparatively limited computer capabilities. The SNA MAGIC can also be used for increased accuracy in the analysis of eigenwave dispersion characteristics. It was found that the single-frequency MAGIC simulations also allow to estimate the systematic inaccuracy of the results from the SNA MAGIC.
