Abstract:

Parafibromin is a nuclear protein with a tumour suppressor role in the development of non-hereditary and hereditary parathyroid carcinomas, and the hyperparathyroidism-jaw tumour (HPT-JT) syndrome, which is associated with renal and uterine tumours.
