Organic electronics and beyond (Advanced Optical Materials 14/2021)

Abstract:: With this Special Issue, we would like to celebrate the 60th birthday of Prof. Karl Leo, one of the leading scientists in the field of Organic Electronics (see also the Guest Editorial, article number 2101108). This front cover shows a cube made of six individual laboratory-sized organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs). This OLED-cube has become an iconic object representing the continuous research and development in and around the Dresden Organic Electronics hub that finds its roots in the visionary research of Karl Leo.
