Terminal assembly of sarcomeric filaments by intermolecular beta-sheet formation.

Abstract:

The contraction-relaxation cycle of muscle cells translates into large movements of several filament systems in sarcomeres, requiring special molecular mechanisms to maintain their structural integrity.
