A sonotrode for electroanalysis: the determination of copper in passivating media.

Abstract:

A sonotrode consisting of a disc shaped glassy carbon electrode attached to a quartz rod and inserted into a drilled ultrasonic probe tip has been designed and used as a novel alternative to the traditional 'face on' cell arrangement where an ultrasonic micro-tip probe is placed opposite a glassy carbon working electrode.
