Analysis of lymphocyte diversity in the elderly: heteroduplex analysis and alternative techniques.

Abstract:: Heteroduplex analysis allows global analysis of T cell receptor clonality. This review outlines the method, compares it to other available techniques for the study of clonality and reviews current literature on how these are being used to investigate alterations in the T cell repertoire within elderly individuals.
