SpCCE1 (YDC2) from Schizosaccharomyces pombe is a DNA structure-specific endonuclease that resolves Holliday junctions in vitro. To investigate the in vivo function of SpCCE1 we made an Spcce1:ura4+ insertion mutant strain.
