In this paper we describe the polyclonal blast response induced in nonimmune murine splenocytes by two homologous alpha 1-3 dextran-binding myeloma protein, J558 and MOPC104E. This stimulation appears to be independent of MHC or IgCh gene complex control, and proceeds entirely in a T-dependent fashion.
