Lay Summary: Fatigue is a common symptom of moderate-to-severe Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis affecting patients’ work/school, physical, social, and sexual activities. However, it is often underappreciated by physicians, highlighting the need to assess fatigue in clinical practice and develop management plans.
