Changes in young adults' mental well-being before and during the early stage of the COVID-19 pandemic: disparities between ethnic groups in Germany

- Pentingnya menjaga stabilitas kesehatan mental merupakan salah satu kebutuhan dasar atau primer bagi manusia, apalagi pada situasi tidak kondusif seperti pada masa terjadinya wabah covid-19 masyarakat rentan terhadap gangguan mental, karena itulah sebagai bentuk upaya preventif sangat penting memberikan psikoedukasi kepada masyarakat tentang literasi kesehatan mental agar masyarakat mengetahui dan mengenali gejala-gejala gangguan mental, mampu mencari pertolongan dan perawatan yang tepat sehingga tidak memperparah kondisi gangguan mental yang di derita. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan psikoedukasi literasi kesehatan mental guna menjaga kesehatan mental di kampung wisata. Metode kegiatan psikoedukasi yakni dengan cara penyuluhan dan konsultasi pribadi secara gratis, dengan jumlah informan 19, metode evaluasi kegiatan dengan memberikan kuesioner pre-test dan post-test. Hasil yang diperoleh berdasarkan skor pre-post-test dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan psikoedukasi berupa penyuluhan tentang literasi kesehatan mental efektif untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat artinya meningkatkan hard skill. The importance of maintaining mental health stability is one of the basic or primary needs for humans, especially in situations that are not conducive such as during the Covid-19 outbreak, people are vulnerable to mental disorders, therefore as a form of preventive effort it is very important to provide psychoeducation to the community about mental health literacy so that people know and recognize the symptoms of mental disorders, and they can seek help and proper treatment in order not to aggravate the condition of mental disorders suffered. The purpose of this activity is to provide psychoeducation on mental health literacy in maintaining mental health in tourist villages, with a total of 19 female respondents, the method of psychoeducational activities by free counseling and personal consultation. The obtained results based on the pre-post-test score can conclude that psychoeducational activities by counseling on mental health literacy are effective in increasing public knowledge means increasing hard skills
