Kaposi's sarcoma in Zimbabwe. II. Peripheral lymphocytes, immunoglobulin G levels and HIV antibody positivity.

Abstract:

Patients with Kaposi's Sarcoma (KS) were grouped according to their clinical symptoms into "indolent", "locally aggressive", "endemic generalised aggressive" and "epidemic generalised aggressive" disease. Only the patients in the epidemic generalised aggressive disease group had serum antibodies to HIV.
