PREDICTIONS OF MASSES OF HIGHLY NEUTRON-RICH LIGHT-NUCLEI
- Abstract:
- A simple mass equation is derived and is shown to provide a good description of the masses of the recently measured TZ=52 nuclei in the s-d shell. A comparison is made with the method of Garvey et al. and predictions of masses and of the stability of neutron-excess light nuclei are given for both methods.
