Re-drawing the boundaries of entrapment

Abstract:
Following the decision of the House of Lords in the Looseley case there is a whole range of questions to be answered about the limits of proactive policing and the boundaries of entrapment. This article explores some of those issues, and suggests that more detailed guidance now needs to be drafted, after wide discussion of principles and practice.
