Abstract:

OBJECTIVE: To assess the therapeutic response and investigate the significance of polymorphic codons in African patients receiving highly-active antiretroviral therapy (HAART). DESIGN AND METHODS: African patients were identified from the St Mary's Hospital HIV-1 database. Clinical outcome was assessed by viral load and CD4 cell count.
