Organotelluroxane molecular clusters assembled <i>via</i> Te⋯X<sup>−</sup> (X = Cl<sup>−</sup>, Br<sup>−</sup>) chalcogen bonding anion template interactions

Abstract:
The synthesis of two novel molecular organotelluroxane clusters are described, wherein Te(iv) centred electrophilicity is crucial in the chalcogen bonding anion template directed assembly. These assemblies exhibit aggregation induced emission (AIE).
