The impact of teaching students and healthcare professionals using simulation medicine methods on the results of didactic testing and clinical outcomes in pre-hospital and hospital care. MUDr. Metoděj Renza Abstract The dissertation examines the impact of simulation medicine teaching methods on the education of students and healthcare professionals, with a particular focus on didactic results and clinical outcomes in pre-hospital and hospital care. The research is based on several years of work at the simulation laboratory of the Third Faculty of Medicine at Charles University and is drawing on a set of four published studies commented on in the thesis. Simulation medicine is a modern teaching tool that allows for the training of technical and non-technical skills in a safe environment without endangering patients. In addition to learning manual procedures, it emphasizes the development of competencies, teamwork, decision-making, and leadership. The dissertation summarizes the theoretical foundations of simulation training, its contribution to the prevention of medical errors, and shows its place in the education system for medical and non-medical healthcare professionals. The first study examined the impact of different levels of personal protective equipment on the performance of a resuscitation team in a...Vliv výuky studentů a zdravotnických profesionálů metodami simulační medicíny na výsledky didaktického testování a klinické výstupy v přednemocniční a nemocniční péči MUDr. Metoděj Renza Abstrakt Disertační práce se zabývá vlivem výuky metodami simulační medicíny na vzdělávání studentů a zdravotnických profesionálů, zejména s ohledem na didaktické výsledky a klinické výstupy v přednemocniční a nemocniční péči. Výzkum vychází z víceleté činnosti simulační laboratoře 3. lékařské fakulty Univerzity Karlovy a je založen na souboru čtyř publikovaných studií komentovaných v rámci celé práce. Simulační medicína je moderní didaktický nástroj umožňující nácvik technických i netechnických dovedností v bezpečném prostředí, tedy bez rizika pro pacienta. Kromě osvojení manuálních postupů klade důraz na rozvoj kompetencí, týmové spolupráce, rozhodování a vedení. Disertační práce shrnuje teoretická východiska simulační výuky, její přínos pro prevenci medicínských chyb, a ukazuje její místo ve vzdělávacím systému lékařských i nelékařských zdravotníků. V první studii byl zkoumán vliv rozdílné úrovně osobních ochranných prostředků na výkon resuscitačního týmu v simulované krizi.
