Large study but weak test of internal validation: comment on the article by Solomon et al

Abstract:: We read with interest the study by Solomon and colleagues that used a large registry cohort to develop and internally validate a risk score to predict the 10-year risk of cardiovascular disease in patients with rheumatoid arthritis. However, there are a number of issues we raise that question the potential usefulness of the risk score.
