Management of relapsing Plasmodium vivax malaria

Abstract:

Introduction Relapses are important contributors to illness and morbidity in Plasmodium vivax and ovale infections. Relapse prevention (radical cure) with primaquine is required for optimal management, control and ultimately elimination of Plasmodium vivax malaria.
