Abstract:

Heart failure is a common condition associated with substantial mortality, morbidity and impairment of quality of life. However, despite the proven efficacy of angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors, heart failure is often under-diagnosed and under-treated, particularly in primary care.
