- Abstract:
-
Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is a progressive neurodegenerative disorder characterised pathologically by the accumulation of amyloid-β plaques and neurofibrillary tangles within the brain. Currently, there are no disease-modifying therapeutic interventions available. This thesis describes the development and delivery of novel RNA-based therapeutics for AD.
