Ecrits et discours politiques sur le Nord-Cameroun britannique: étude comparative de la production camerounaise et nigériane
- Abstract:
-
In the conflict that opposes Cameroon and Nigeria in the British North Cameroon, both parties have deployed several means and strategies to conquer this territory. Among these, written productions and political speeches produced in these two countries continue to animate debates and discussions, with serious impact on their political life, particularly to its target destination. The objective of the study is to demonstrate that as a result of such works, many people of the North Cameroon have developed greater awareness of the situation in which they assert the prevalence of political and cultural identity. The methodology used consists, firstly, of establishing literature review on this subject in the two competing countries. To achieve this, it was necessary to identify these and analyse them. Then, we have attempted to understand the role of these productions in shaping ideas, opinion making about political development and in sensitizing the population for the need to be conscious and committed as proposed options; commitment was their final decision.
