THE APPLICATION OF GENERALIZED DIAGONAL DOMINANCE TO LINEAR-SYSTEM STABILITY THEORY
- Abstract:
- This paper shows that the well-known diagonal dominance condition associated with Rosenbrock's stability theorems is unnecessary and can be replaced by a less restrictive generalized diagonal dominance condition. Similar results are derived for generalized block diagonally dominant systems. Whenever possible graphical interpretations are given to facilitate the implementation of these ideas in computer aided design packages.
