All in good time: on Scheffler's 'One Life to Lead' Ch 2
- Abstract:
- This is a commentary on Samuel Schefflerʼs One Life to Lead, focusing on Chapter 2 of that book. The piece focuses on Schefflerʼs conditional acceptance of a revised form of Parfitʼs ʻexcellent argumentʼ and suggests that there are more fundamental reasons to reject Parfitʼs endorsement of temporal neutrality than arise from our relationships.
