Boosting the effectiveness of UV filters and sunscreen formulations using photostable, non-toxic inorganic platelets

Abstract:
Al-LDH platelets (280 nm) in a commercial sunscreen formulation, we achieved a twofold Sun Protection Factor boost, providing a promising, high-efficient and non-toxic strategy to enhance sunscreen effectiveness.
