Tropospheric emission spectrometer: Retrieval method and error analysis

Abstract:

We describe the approach for the estimation of the atmospheric state, e.g., temperature, water, ozone, from calibrated, spectral radiances measured from the Tropospheric Emission Spectrometer (TES) onboard the Aura spacecraft.
